Join Caring Across Generations at CareFest – a two-day, in-person event for leaders and changemakers across business, entertainment, philanthropy and public policy from Nov. 2 – 3, 2023, at the Luskin Conference Center at UCLA.
It’s time to come together and dream big about the future of care in the U.S.
What is CareFest?
CareFest is a first-of-its-kind, in-person event designed to envision the future of care in the U.S.
We’re bringing leaders and changemakers together, to share ideas and solutions so we can all do what matters most: care for ourselves and the people we love.
Why now?
Every person—across every socioeconomic background, every race, and every stage of life—will need care at some point in their life. Whether as an infant, when recovering from an illness, living with a disability, or as we age: care is a universal experience. We have care in common.
We can no longer ignore:
- The struggles parents face finding affordable, high-quality childcare
- The number of people who can’t be by a loved one’s side in a time of need because they don’t have guaranteed paid leave
- The lack of real and fair options for aging or disabled people to live full, independent lives of their choosing
- The number of care professionals who can’t make ends meet
Care is one of the defining issues of our time. It’s time to change how we value and support caregiving in America. Let’s move solutions from possible to inevitable.
A detailed program for the event will be available soon!
