Important update: The program, Collaboration Across Strategies: Connecting and Protecting Immigrant Communities, was initially scheduled for Thursday, February 06, but has been rescheduled to Wednesday, February 26, 2025, from 10:00 - 11:30 am. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. All registrants will be automatically registered to the new date.
Join SoCal Grantmakers and the California Immigrant Policy Center to learn how intersectional issues like housing, workforce development, health, climate, and education significantly affect immigrant communities. During this convening, we will hear from immigrant rights groups and funders who are supporting collaborations across strategies in anticipation of immediate immigration law enforcement, which includes immediate border closures, policies separating families, and education and health care access to vulnerable populations, including immigrant children and mixed-status families. Such implications will weigh heavily on community-based organizations, community clinics, K-12 education, and the safety net.
We will explore the following high-level priorities that have emerged:
Chief Executive Officer, Advancing Justice Southern California (AJSOCAL)
Executive Director, The California Immigrant Policy Center (CIPC)
