We invite the EGA community to the 2022 Winter Briefing: Reconciling State and Federal Strategies for People and Planet, March 1-2, 2022!
Now is the time to reconnect, and align across our strategies to lift up our practices for strong and impactful philanthropy. In the spirit of this year’s theme, Reconciling State and Federal Strategies for People and Planet, we are cultivating programming that focuses on essential work happening beyond the federal level to advance our shared commitments. We are here to center the environment with an eye towards justice and to do that effectively we are in support of philanthropy bolstering Black Indigenous and People of Color communities as partners in the long-term strategy for meaningful action. The 2022 Winter Briefing will highlight state action, and the feedback loop between state and federal strategies, with a focus on the justice communities, seek.
We look forward to uplifting funder collaborations with local leaders, as well as sharing your success stories and works in progress. We are making space for you to discuss priorities funders are supporting in every locality. This event is an opportunity for member-to-member connections, as we build community and time for solace as we continue our efforts towards an equitable, sustainable future amid the pandemic, the climate crisis, and in preparation of upcoming political narratives.
The Winter Briefing is a two-day virtual event, and we are eager to make the most of our time together. It is our pleasure to provide an opportunity for members to meet up with old and new colleagues and connect on environmental priorities most relevant to your region.
