LA Arts Funders is a peer learning group that provides opportunities for public and private sector grantmakers to deepen their knowledge of arts philanthropy, expand their professional networks, and explore topical issues affecting LA County's arts and culture ecosystem.
The June meeting will follow the Otis College 2024 Report on the Creative Economy launch event that’s happening in the morning at Sony Pictures Studios. We’ll debrief key findings from the new report and hear from a panel of funders investing in a variety of strategies and collaborative initiatives. Our recent group survey showed significant interest in creative workforce issues, which will hopefully make for a robust turnout and conversation focusing on opportunities for philanthropy to support the creative economy.
We’ll enjoy an informal catered lunch together at 12:30 pm, then meet for our usual 90 minutes, including 30 minutes to exchange group updates and help requests, concluding at 2:30 pm.
