Philanthropy California is excited to announce the return of Sacramento Advocacy Day! This event is a unique opportunity for funders to cultivate relationships with policymakers to advance the philanthropic sector's priorities. Sacramento Advocacy Day allows members to:
- Educate legislators and the administration about philanthropy's role in civil society, ensuring that community voices are heard while promoting coordination between the public, nonprofit, and philanthropic sectors
- Develop and cultivate relationships with fellow policy-oriented peers and policymakers
- Encourage legislators to view foundations as thought partners
We encourage you to join us on April 1 & 2, 2025, at the State Capitol for a day and a half of programming and legislative meetings exploring opportunities to work together on critical issues impacting our state as we welcome a new Congress and representatives. The Philanthropy California team will provide an orientation session before the legislative meetings.
If you are interested in attending Sacramento Advocacy Day, please complete the interest form below, and our team will contact you with more information and registration instructions.
