Please join us for the first SCG Education Funders Group program of the year. By popular demand, this virtual gathering will be an intentional space for education funders to connect with one another, learn about new and exciting work happening in the field, and share requests for help or collaboration with peers in the philanthropic sector. The meeting will be facilitated with the goal that attendees leave feeling more connected to one another and informed about work happening in the sector. Please come prepared to share about your work! Specific prompts and a detailed agenda will be provided to all registrants in advance.
About the Education Funders Group Meeting for over a decade, the SCG Education Funders Group brings philanthropic funders together to learn about issues, trends, and needs in education (Pre-K through 12th grade) to inform individual and collective grantmaking. Members of the funder group propose ideas for topics and then work with the co-conveners to organize a learning session. Over the years, the group has explored various topics, including early childhood education, after-school programming, parent engagement, blended learning, linked learning, STEM, implementation of the common core, and college access/college success.
