Please join SCG's Veteran Funders Group for our next quarterly meeting via Zoom. As Nate Graeser, VFG's long-time steward, prepares for his deployment over the next year, he'll be passing the baton to Becky Newman, a prior VFG co-chair during her tenure at The Rose Hills Foundation.
During the meeting Nate will share his lived experience and insights for funders to understand about the deployment process, timeline, preparations, and transitions. We'll also hear updates on VPAN; two exciting funding opportunities with the California Association of County Veteran Service Officers (CVSO) and LA County's Office of Military and Veteran Affairs; an update on systems work addressing Veteran Criminal Justice issues on a national scale; and the VFG's plans for the remainder of 2023.
