This is the moment to be bold in our vision for a more inclusive tomorrow. A future where our communities have equitable access to health care, jobs, education, voting, and safety. It will only be with these protections that we will be able to fully address the pandemic and simultaneously recover in a way that builds back better with a clear focus on closing racial disparities.
Over the next few years, hundreds of billions of federal stimulus dollars will be going to local infrastructure and social programs. This includes $600 million in 2022 for California in the Community Economic Resilience Fund (CERF). This is a critical opportunity for philanthropy to coordinate with government, community leaders, nonprofits and the business community to support impacted communities in accessing federal and state resources.
Join us on May 4th and 5th at NCG’s 2022 Annual Conference to learn more about what federal and state funds mean for our region, and how we can position our collective work and resources to advance racial equity in recovery.
