As many of our country's social and economic inequities continue to worsen, our sector must consider if the theories and strategies we've been employing are actually helping us realize the change we want to create in the world. In the last year, the triple crises of the COVID-19, systemic racism, and climate change have shown us that many of philanthropy's long-standing practices have not served our communities. Moreover, we learned that many of our practices weren't fixed and could be changed meet the moment.
