The Lawrence Welk Family Foundation is a small, family foundation located in Los Angeles, California and funded by a family corporation. We award grants ranging from $5000.00 to $25,000 each year to nonprofit organizations whose focus is the delivery of social services to children and families living in poverty. We look for grassroots organizations that provide interventions benefiting the whole family unit and that demonstrate a long-term commitment to the families served. Geographically, we restrict our giving to the Santa Monica Bay Area, Los Angeles Central City and a small portion of North County San Diego. In addition, a small portion of our funding goes to nonprofit organizations promoting youth and family philanthropy.
