Mission
To promote and provide healing experiences using the expressive and creative arts to support and empower survivors of trauma.
Vision
The Bella Arts Foundation believes that the expressive arts have the power to build a healing connection between mind and body, restoring a sense of balance in people who have experienced trauma.
The expressive and healing arts can include many creative mechanisms, such as: music, poetry, movement, equine therapy, sound healing, art, and theater.
Values
We believe in providing and promoting a safe, non-judgmental space for creative expression to allow for healing that not only empowers participants, but also positively impacts their relationships and community.
We believe that the creative and expressive arts used as alternative and complimentary methods of healing should be widely and easily accessible to everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic status, abilities, age, and sexuality.
We believe in innovating and collaborating with other organizations to further our mission on a communal and global level.
