Aimee Pila-Bravo is Director of the Los Angeles Veterans Collaborative (LAVC) at Southern California Grantmakers. Aimee organizes the continuous collaborative efforts of over 2,000 Veteran Service Organizations throughout LA County. This is managed through a monthly meeting and ongoing information sharing among all stakeholders. Through transparent communication and the passion to help Veterans and Military Families, this model is spearheading collective impact. Aimee pursued her higher education at the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social worth with a concentration in Social Change and Innovation (SCI) and Military Social Work. Following in her brother’s footsteps, she enlisted into the United States Air Force and has served both active duty and in the reserves for over 10 years. Her experiences have led to personal understanding of the difficulties that are presented to veterans once transitioning from the service which motivated the desire for lead.
