Rachel Doria manages and supports SCG’s revenue streams by compiling and completing proposals/reports for sponsorships and grants, and supporting new member development.
Prior to joining SCG in July 2016, Rachel provided five years of grant writing and administrative support to the Southern California Division of The Salvation Army. As the Foundations Associate, Rachel was responsible for tracking all deadlines, maintaining up-to-date records and donor communications, as well as writing and submitting a portion of all grant requests and reports for over 30 sites throughout Southern California. Rachel is a graduate of California State University Fullerton, with a B.A. in Sociology, and holds a certificate from Long Beach Nonprofit Partnership’s Grantwriting Certificate Program. Rachel is passionate about social justice and creating an equitable and healthy organizational culture. She serves on SCG's internal Culture Committee and Equity Committee.
