Morgan Bennett specializes in developing programming and services for SCG’s family philanthropy community, arts funders, and executive leaders. Key to her work is nurturing trusting relationships that center shared values, learning, and collaboration. Morgan serves as an advocate and resource for effective philanthropy practices and facilitates peer groups including the Family Foundation Information Exchange (FFIX) and the Los Angeles Arts Funders. She works closely with advisors, partners, and SCG’s family philanthropy and executive management teams to adapt offerings to an ever-changing world.
Morgan brings over twenty years of nonprofit and philanthropic experience to her work along with a lifelong passion for service. She joined SCG’s membership team in 2015, most recently serving as director of member engagement. Previously, she managed member services at Grantmakers for Education and civic education programs for Oregon students and teachers at Civics Learning Project. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree in political science. She now loves living in the Santa Ynez Valley and serving on the boards of the California Nature Art Museum and her family’s foundation.
