Morgan Bennett directs organization-wide efforts to engage SCG’s thriving community of members. She develops and implements strategies and systems to connect members with relevant programming, resources and peers. Morgan oversees the annual membership renewal campaign and analyzes trends in membership retention and recruitment in order to ensure that SCG remains relevant to the changing philanthropy ecosystem. She also manages a series of programs that provide arts philanthropy leaders with opportunities to learn, build relationships and collaborate.
Prior to joining SCG in 2015, Morgan was Member Services Manager at Grantmakers for Education, a national network of philanthropic organizations working across the education spectrum, and previously managed civic education programs for students and teachers across Oregon at Classroom Law Project, a nonprofit organization based in Portland. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.A. in Political Science. Morgan is passionate about strengthening the diverse communities that make Southern California so special.
