evolve: Emerging Leaders Peer-to-Peer Network Application 2024-2025
Time Commitment
The Emerging Leader Peer-to-Peer cohort will meet quarterly bi-monthly over a one-year period, starting with the first mandatory in-person session on June 11, 2024, from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Subsequent meeting dates, times, and locations will be set and agreed upon by our facilitator, John Kobara, and the participants. Please note that most sessions will take place in-person. If selected to participate, you will be notified with additional information regarding registration, attendance, and program expectations.
Eligibility and Selection
SCG will select 10 to 15 emerging and mid-level leaders from current SCG member organizations for the 2024-2025 cohort. Participants must commit to attending every quarterly session. The ideal participant will bring the following:
- At least three to five years in an emerging or mid-level leadership role at one or more grantmaking organizations;
- Desire to actively develop themselves as leaders and be open to new experiences, skills and ongoing self-discovery;
- Strong commitment to responsible stewardship and the philanthropic sector;
- Demonstrated willingness to engage in a peer network setting, with an expressed interest in learning and sharing openly; and
- The full support of his/her organization’s leadership and the intention to remain with the organization for the duration of the one-year program.
- Please note that in order to create an environment for open sharing and peer learning, no more than one participant per foundation will be selected to participate.
