SoCal Grantmakers, in partnership with Mission Investors Exchange, National Center for Family Philanthropy, and Northern California Grantmakers, is pleased to host the 2023 Mission Investing Institute. Through both virtual sessions and a two-day experience at The California Endowment in Los Angeles, California, the Institute helps philanthropy professionals get started in impact investing or advance their practice. Participants learn from leading impact investing professionals, network with industry peers, and apply learnings with fellow philanthropy and finance professionals.
Topics to be covered include defining impact investing and other key terms, understanding investment approaches, designing and implementing an impact investing portfolio, sourcing and underwriting investments, financially monitoring a portfolio, and measuring social impact.
Note: Registration will move to a waitlist prior to reaching full capacity, with preference given to partner organization members and diverse participants.
