Join us for a pivotal discussion on defining success in promoting equitable access to and engagement in quality jobs and a workforce development system fostering upward mobility, dignity, and the recognition of talent across Los Angeles County. This event will bring together a diverse group of stakeholders—from community organizations to employers, educators, policymakers, and workforce development leaders—to explore different perspectives on success in achieving a more inclusive and effective workforce system.
Through collaborative dialogues and an expert-led panel, we will discuss how we can align efforts across sectors to create a system that values people’s skills and potential, addresses barriers to access, and creates pathways for economic mobility. A key event component will be a panel discussion focused on data and community-driven indicators that can guide actionable recommendations for enhancing workforce development. This session will provide a platform to inform future collective actions and strengthen cross-sector partnerships to create lasting, meaningful changes.
Participants will share their insights, challenges, and vision for a workforce development system that supports job seekers and equips employers with the talent they need to thrive. This is an essential conversation for anyone committed to advancing equitable workforce solutions in the Los Angeles region. Together, we will explore strategies to promote job quality, ensure dignity in work, and build a future that uplifts all individuals in the region.
