Hosted by the Los Angeles LGBT Center and CEO Joe Hollendoner, in partnership with SoCal Grantmakers, the California Community Foundation, and the David Bohnett Foundation, the program will provide an overview of the state of the hMPXV epidemic in Los Angeles. Topics covered will include an overview of the communities most impacted, on the ground challenges experienced by organizations such as the Center, and how funders can help organizations at the epicenter of fighting the epidemic, as well as how to address hMPXV in a culturally competent manner within your institutions. The program will include time for Q&A.
If you have any questions, please contact the Center’s Chief Impact Officer Terra Russell-Slavin at tslavin@lalgbtcenter.org.
