We are excited to be joined by Silvia Paz and Sky Allen for our upcoming member meeting on the electoral impacts of redistricting and future directions for civic engagement in the Inland Empire — and effective practices for CBOs and funders ourselves to engage in advocacy and relationship-building with elected and other public sector officials.
In an interactive discussion moderated by Lety De Lara of the RAP Foundation, Silvia and Sky will bring their experience advocating for community voice and policies to improve the health and well-being of Inland Empire residents.
Reflect on the impacts of redistricting work on equitable representation for historically marginalized communities in the region,
Learn where the points of influence are for CBOs and grantmakers, including public sector officials, and
Learn strategies and tools to support engagement and relationship building between funders and public sector officials to advocate for CBOs.
*For in-person attendance, location details will be provided after registration.
