Southern California Latinx in Philanthropy(SCLP) is proud to host the Muévete para el Movimiento-Move for the Movement 5k Run/Walk/Stroll!
SCLP is an affinity group made up of volunteer grantmaking professionals who are working to leverage networks and resources in order to mitigate the impact of historical and systemic inequities in the Latinx community. We work together to create and nurture a healthy and thriving Latinx community and promote and lead effective, responsive and impactful philanthropy in support of Latinx communities and the next generation of Latinx philanthropists in Southern California. All proceeds from the 5k will go towards supporting the future programming events of SCLP.
Register for our race and run/walk/stroll your own 5k wherever you want over the course of four weeks (July 1-July 30). You can also run a route we have planned at your own leisure to get to know some historic parts of Los Angeles, or join us for an in-person grassroots 5k from the California Endowment on Saturday, July 30, 2022, that will end with some refreshments and rejoicing!
Take some cool pics or clips running with your bib and send them to socallatinx@gmail.com or post directly to social media with the hashtag #SCLPMoves or #MueveteSCLP. When you are finished tracking your race with your favorite running app or timing device - you will come back to this website to post your time or text your time to 4SCLP (messaging and data rates apply). At the end of the race period we will post our fastest winners who will receive special recognition! Thanks for being honest with your time!
