Traditions of Giving is an annual gathering meant for SCG's family philanthropy community to reconnect and reflect on our collective work. SCG's Family Philanthropy team is excited to share that this year, Traditions of Giving will be a pre-Family Philanthropy Conference activity held on Friday, November 15th. Traditions will build upon our conference theme of Bridging Possibilities by exploring how our family members can deepen their commitments to our communities and shared humanity.
By special request from our family network, we are thrilled to share that we will be returning to ALMA Backyard Farms, an organization dedicated to reconnecting the lives of the formerly incarcerated back to the fabric of society as agents of health, safety, and community. Together, we will help prepare a harvest for the local community and hear inspirational stories of how this organization is working to impart change through urban agriculture.
Over this past year, our members have expressed how much they value and prioritize connecting with their family foundation colleagues. We hope you will join your family community for this year's Traditions of Giving and Family Philanthropy Conference, Bridging Possibilities, where we will give back and learn how to strengthen our connections to nature, our communities, and each other.
