Eligibility & Selection

This program is open to current members of SoCal Grantmakers, Northern California Grantmakers, and Catalyst of San Diego, and Imperial Counties, and other grantmakers.

SCG will select 15-20 executive-level foundation leaders and trustees. Participants must commit to attending every session. The ideal participant will bring the following:

  • Experience as an Executive Leader (examples include: President, CEO, Executive Director, VP, COO, CFO) OR trustee at a grantmaking organization.
  • Trustee candidates should ideally have a direct connection to the creation of the foundation and/or a specific leading operational role in the foundation.
  • Demonstrates willingness to engage openly in a peer-cohort model of learning and sharing.
  • Please note that only one participant per foundation will be selected to participate.

Fees

We offer two payment options for this program: 

  • $6,000 for participation in the full curriculum without executive coaching. 
  • $7,500 for participation in the full curriculum and three 1:1 executive coaching sessions.

Chosen participants will be invoiced for the total amount before the start of the program. There is no fee to apply.

Limited scholarships are available and additional information can be provided upon request. Requesting financial assistance will not affect acceptance into the network.

Refunds & Cancellations

Please note that the deadline for cancellations is July 22, 2022. After this date, no refunds will be issued. All cancellations are subject to a 1.9% processing fee. All cancellation requests MUST be submitted in writing to Monica Banks at monica@socalgrantmakers.org.
