Program Benefits
Through the course of the program, participants will:
- Receive a comprehensive personal Birkman Assessment and one-on-one consultation. Birkman provides leaders actionable insights into their motivators, behaviors, and blind spots. The Birkman Method is a preferred instrument to understand interpersonal dynamics and achieve higher performance through positive psychology.
- Have the option to be assigned an executive coach for three one-on-one conversations.
- Develop a personal credo — a brief, compelling statement of the unique values, goals, and principles that will guide each leader’s work in philanthropy.
- Join an enduring network of diverse executive peers who will provide feedback during the program and beyond.
- Engage in Extended Warranty — For three months after the conclusion of the outlined sessions, participants will have the option to engage in ongoing support and connection to continue their learning and strengthen their network.

- Deepening Your Understanding of Self: Neuroscience, Meditation, Human Potential, and Coaching
- Building Trust: Commonality, Compassion, Community
- Creating Culture and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Examining Power, Privilege, and Performance; Creating Effective Culture in the Workplace and with Your Board
- Foundations of Leadership: Creating and Refining Your Leadership Vision; Developing a Personal Credo
- Issues and Impact: Prioritization of Issues, Human-Centered Design, Going Well Beyond The Grant
- Operationalizing Your Organization’s Values: Creating a Highly Performance Culture and a Governance Board
Time Commitment
The cohort will meet twice each month on the following Fridays from 9:00 am - 12:30 pm PDT. Please note that there will be two in-person convenings, and the rest of the sessions will be virtual. Every participant will have the opportunity to attend optional extended learning sessions at the conclusion of the program.

To foster an environment for shared learning, vulnerability, and trust-building, we require that participants be in attendance for all of the scheduled sessions. Please note that virtual and in-person sessions will not be recorded or live-streamed. For in-person sessions, vaccinations will be required of all attendees with limited exemptions for religious or medical reasons.
